The course you have selected is a USCG required curriculum for tank-barge (PIC) person in charge Dangerous Liquids. The course will cover required regulations regarding the transport of hazardous materials on the navigable waterways of the United States. There will be elements of information regarding equipment and products transported and the various regulations relating to them. The course required by USCG regulations is 32 hours, which you will have 90 days to complete the 32 hours of study using any electronic device in your possession that can access the internet. No electronic equipment will be distributed to you. Once study has been completed a 40 question test administered by a USCG certified instructor at a USCG approved site on a designated date. Once testing is complete and you PASS with a grade of 70 or above you will receive a USCG approved certificate of completion for (PIC) Person in Charge Tank-barge Dangerous Liquids 32 hour Course.
